Errors

PapelShip uses standard HTTP status codes. Every JSON response includes a success boolean.

Status codes

Code	Meaning	What to do
`200`	Request succeeded.	Read the response body.
`400`	Bad request or validation error.	Check required fields and value types.
`401`	Missing or invalid API key.	Check your authentication headers.
`403`	Key lacks permission for this action.	Use a key with the right scope.
`404`	Resource not found.	Check the ID in the URL or query.
`500`	Server error.	Retry with exponential backoff.

Error	Cause
Crypto method disabled	Crypto payments are turned off for your store. Enable them in the dashboard.
Coin not enabled	The requested `coin_type` is not configured for your store.
Invoice not found	The `invoiceId` does not exist or belongs to another store.

Retry only on network failures and 5xx responses. Send the same Idempotency-Key on each retry. See Idempotency.
